Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here is mine:
“Lying on my side, I dip my hand into the icy water of the stream, aware only of a distant buzzing in my brain. I watch the blood trail away, lazy in the water.”
~Page 1 , Skin and Bones by D.C. Corso

Whoa, what… I was kinda coasting along on this teaser, icy stream and all, till I got to the blood part. What happened? Good teaser!
Thank you for dropping by mine!
Haven't we all done this–lie by a stream, pool, ocean, that is!–lost in thought, almost hypnotized by the feel of the water? Luckily not the blood though. Great hook on the author's part. BTW, I love the looks of your blog–very youthful, hip design. Do you live with cats? I wondered because of your banner.
I'm late getting to TT this week. If you're still reading, my teaser is for A Woman in Berlin , link at Summit Musings .
