"The Arrivals" was a great book. I could not put it down. It reminded me of a time when we needed to move in with my Dad while we were waiting for a house to go on the market in a neighborhood that we really wanted to move into to. It was a good experience for my family and my Dad. However, when we moved into our new home, it was time for us to be back on our own.

The very best book and a first time author at that!!!!!!

Soap opera is the perfect term to describe. I thought it was weak and felt that the author must've been paid by the word - with lists and descriptions that did not add anything to the story. So why did I finish it - I was interested to find out how she wrapped up the story which was totally predictable. Don't bother to try it unless you've read every other good and worthwhile book that's out there and there's nothing left.

This is one of the worst books I've read. I picked it for our book club and no one could finish it. I did because I read all the reviews and was afraid I was going to mis something. Don't read this book unless you have more knowledge than the average person in regards to traveling to Jerusalem. I feel the author gave this book away for free to the reveiwers and asked them their thoughts and they said they liked it because of the relationship and not based on the horrible story. The book club coudn't even follow the charaters!

As a voracious reader, this one one kept me on the edge of my seat. I like that it mixed romance, fantasy, adventure, historical data all in one book.
Fast-paced, I could not put it down!!! It did what a story should, it entertained and I think it would make a super movie...in the genre of Girl with the.....tatoo...
Try it...you might enjoy it!
