The Sunday Salon 14 March

The Sunday Salon.com

It seems like just yesterday I was trying to decide which college suited me best and now I find myself helping my oldest son on his college search. How did the decades pass me without my knowing? I keep saying it, yet it is the truth, life is too short. Enjoy the moment you are in, do not worry about the past, leave it behind where it belongs. While you are at it, stop fretting about the future, doing so robs you of the joys of the moment, I learned that one the difficult way.

If anyone has any suggestions for small colleges/universities in the Midwest/East (IN, OH, MI, PA, NY, VA), I would be interested in learning about them, since I did not grow up in this area.

This past week twelve reviews went up:

Today I am planning to read:
  • Captivity by Deborah Noyes
  • An Unfinished Score by Elise Blackwell

Happy Reading and please feel free to leave comments or suggestions.

All are welcome to join The Sunday Salon.

What Are You Reading Mondays?

I adore this meme, which was created by J. Kaye at J. Kaye’s Book Blog . It is the perfect way for me to begin the week by helping me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

  • Love Finds You In Lonesome Prairie, Montana by Tricia Goyer and Ocienna Fleiss (348 pages)- Review
  • Sometimes We’re Real Same-Same by Mattox Roesch (317 pages)- Review
  • No Wind of Blame by Georgette Heyer (364 pages)- Review

This Week I am hoping to read:

2010 100+ Reading Challenge

In 2010 I am hoping to keep far better records of the books I read, as I completely lost track in 2009, granted I still have a little over a month to try and recall all I red, but honestly I just do not have the energy. I shall be trying a new method to keep track of all the books I read during the new year.

The challenge runs from 1 January 2010 until 31 December 2010. Anyone may join and any genres are allowed. For more information about the challenge or to sign up, visit J Kaye’s Book Blog.
