It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday What Are you Reading is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

I Read and Reviewed (click the title to be taken to the review):

  • The Filter Bubble by Eli Pariser
  • Your Voice in My Head by Emma Forrest
  • When We Danced on Water by Evan Fallenberg *My favourite book of the week.
  • The Ninth Wife by Amy Stolls
  • What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
  • Farishta by Patricia McArdle
  • The Gray Zone by Daphna Edwards Ziman
  • This week I am planning to read/review: (Due to several tomes listed, I will not get through all of these, but I hold out hope.)

  • To Be Sung Underwater by Tom McNeal
  • Tiny Sunbirds, Far Away by Christie Watson
  • I Wore the Ocean in the Shape of a Girl by Kelle Groom
  • The Honored Dead by Joseph Braude
  • Thoughts Without Cigarettes by Oscar Hijuelos
  • When God Was a Rabbit by Sarah Winman

Life: Whew!  I made it through May, now to just get through this next week with what is left of my sanity and all will be well, or at least much better.

Family Update: My oldest son graduated from High School over the weekend.  He had several ceremonies before the final ceremony which was on Saturday.  We have out of town company, which is cutting in to my reading time significantly.

Saturday Night: I spent the evening entertaining out of town company.  For those who do not know, I do not like to entertain.

Read and Reviewed: This past week I read 7 books, which was 4 more than I had hoped to be able to read, so it was a great reading week.  This week is not much better than last week in terms of schedules so I hope I can keep up with my reading.

Today I will be reading: The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen (sadly I never got to this book in the past two weeks.)

Happy Reading and have a wonderful Sunday.
