It’s Monday What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday What Are you Reading is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

I Read and Reviewed (click the title to be taken to the review):

Visit next Monday to see if I managed to accomplish my reading goals.

  11. I turned in my children’s book project today. The reading I did for it last week accounts for almost a third of my list. Come see what I read.

  12. A great list of books. The one I am most familiar with The Paris Wife, I have been seeing around a lot and while I am not a huge fan of Hemingway, this book intrigues me. I enjoyed your review too. Have a great week!

  13. Incredible (in a good way. And impressive), you read really fast! Hope you feel better soon.

  14. Oh hope you feel heaps better soon and can read while recuperating :) Glad to see you enjoyed I Am The Chosen King (same rating as me) and The Matchmaker of Kenmare (on my reading list this week.)
I think I’ll be adding Sins of the House of Borgia to my wishlist too. Happy reading!

  15. Thanks for stopping by my blog at Hands and Home! I am SO glad to have found your blog – new follower! I plan to read Sins of the House of Borgia soon, I’m looking forward to hearing what you think.

  16. Oh, I want to read Rock Bottom! Ever since the Erin Brockovich movie, I’ve been a fan.

Love the look of The Matchmaker of Kenmare, too.

Thanks for visiting my blog….and I hope you feel better soon!

    • I have not yet read Rock Bottom, it sounds eerily similar to the movie, but I reserve judgement until I have actually read the book. Delaney’s works are always wonderful and The Matchmaker of Kenmare is a delightful look into Ireland, love, war, and beauty amongst ruin.

  17. Hope you feel better soon! If you’re ill and can’t do anything else, then really it would be fair if you could at least read. But maybe later in the week!

  18. I’m so impressed with how many books you are able to read each week! The Matchmaker of Kenmare looks really good and I hope to read it soon!

My It’s Monday post can be found here.

  19. You read an interesting mix of books last week. I hope you feel better soon.

  20. I have A WORLD I NEVER MADE by James Lepore on my calendar to read the first week of April and now I am seeing his name pop up every where.

    FEEL BETTER SOON!!!

  21. Thanks for checking out my blog! Wow, that’s a lot of books…awesome! Good luck on getting the next batch read!

  22. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I miss the days of reading books upon books during the span of a week. Maybe once my little girl is old enough for school I can have more time for reading. I hope you feel better soon.

  23. Oh my what a full list of books you had read and have to read! They all look wonderful.
Sorry to hear you are ill and i hope you are back to good health soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting and i will be back to yours! :D

  24. The author of Radio Shangri-La was at my local indie recently. I wanted to go meet her but I didn’t get to. Hope you feel better!

  25. As always, great reading week. I got Sins of the House of Borgia as my bathroom book, but think it will be removed once I get into it and want to finish it quicker ;o)

  26. Wonderful reading!

  27. I am impressed with the list that you get through each week. I used to be able to get through a lot, but now, I’m lucky to read a book or two a week.

I have to say, some of these look great.
    Hopefully you’re feeling better soon.

  28. I hope you get well soon and are able to get some reading in.

I liked your review of The Queen’s Lover. I own the British version of the book (Blood Royal) but haven’t finished it yet. I started it last year but put it aside to read other things and forgot about it. I do love historical fiction and mean to give it another go.

    Have a great week!

  29. Feel better, and don’t force anything!

  31. The only one I recognise in your new list is the Erin Brokovich book. You achieve so much each week! xx
