Life: I have been enjoying a very long weekend with my family and they all have Monday off as well, yay!  I had an exceptional mail week.  Nothing cheers me up as much as books.  Speaking of books, I am quite saddened that my local Borders is closing as are 3 others within an hour of me.  First we lost our local Indie Book Stores, then Half Priced Books moved, and now Borders.   This is not a good thing.  In the large suburb I live in we now have two, yes only two bookstores.

Family Update: We had a fairly fun family week until I became more ill than usual, however I was able to attend the student directed plays, which was extremely well done and a delightful two hours.  For those following my oldest son’s college plans, he has narrowed his choices to two schools, one is a reasonable distance from home so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Saturday Night: We spent playing games, eating junk food, and playing games.  My favourite VHS tape was eaten by the VCR player so it looks as though I shall be shopping for a new Sense and Sensibility DVD.

Read and Reviewed: Unfortunately I only read and reviewed 6 books.  Please take a look at my reviews, I read some truly brilliant books this past week and had a very difficult time choosing a favorite.

If you do not want to wait until Monday to see the entire list for the week, all my reviews are up and as usual I love comments.

Today I will be reading: (if I have time) All That’s True by Jackie Lee Miles

Happy Reading and please feel free to leave comments or suggestions.
