Life: This past week was mainly spent trying to get through an ice storm.  Fortunately only trees in our yard were damaged.  Today another front is going through alternating between snow and ice.  On the upside, we have experienced a lot of family togetherness.  While many people will be glued to the Super Bowl, my family will be reading and talking, and just enjoying one another.  I did attend grad school in Wisconsin so I am hoping the Packers win (even though I could not name one player on the team).  I will get a text alert one way or another on the outcome so I do not feel completely out of the loop.

Family Update: Until track season gets into full swing and set building begins for the spring musical DH and I are enjoying a lot more time with our sons.  We have decided Friday and Saturday nights (as long as the guys do not have plans) as family game and movie night.  My guys are all past the teen phase where parents are “uncool” to be with, thankfully, and I am soaking in all the time I have with them, soon my baby will be headed to college.

Saturday Night: Another front came through during the day so we all stayed snuggled in our beds deliciously late into the morning. We had a rather relaxing day and finished it off with games and the other two movies we did get to the previous night.

Read and Reviewed: I  managed to read and reviewed 7 books. I am finding five books a week is about all my schedule is allowing for, if the books are long, which they have been as of late. Do take a look at my reviews, I read some truly fantastic books this past week and had a very difficult time choosing a favorite.

If you do not want to wait until Monday to see the entire list for the week, all my reviews are up and as usual I love comments.

Today I will be reading: The Old Romantic by Louise Dean.

Happy Reading and please feel free to leave comments or suggestions.
