Life: So far 2011 is going very well. I am looking forward to all the new books coming out in 2011!
Family Update: The five of us have been spoiled by the two week holiday which ends this evening. Our oldest has heard from the first of 5 Universities and was accepted. It is my first choice, alas not his. We have several more months to wait to hear from the other 4 schools.
Saturday Night: was delightful. All five of us were together the first day of the New Year. We spent the day and evening playing board games, watching DVDs and having an all around great time.
Read and Reviewed: I read and reviewed 8 books most of which I queued to post before the holidays so they would not interfere with family time. The others I read wile the guys were out as I did not want to lose any family time.
If you do not want to wait until Monday to see the entire list for the week, all my reviews are up and as usual I love comments.
Today I will be reading: I probably will not be reading today but if I do I really want to finally read (yes the same book I tried to read every Sunday in December 2010) The Green Age of Asher Witherow by M. Allen Cunningham.
Happy Reading and please feel free to leave comments or suggestions.

Thank you Kathy. I do so hope it continues on to be a wonderful year. Happy New Year!
Great way to spend New Year’s Day. Board games can be so much fun. Recently, my daughter and youngest grandson and assorted other grandkids have enjoyed playing The Game of Life.
It’s great for all ages.
Your reading sounds good, and I’ll be checking some of those reviews.

The older I become the more I appreciate family time, possibly because I have so little of it?
Your New Year’s family day sounds lovely. I took time off for the holidays but didn’t have time to preschedule anything, so I’ll be doing some mini-reviews and my best of 2010 posts over the next week or so.
Congrats to your son! I hope he gets good news from all of the schools!
