I am that kind of gardener too! Just tonight I was thinking I should go and buy some more herbs and tomatoes to try and grow even though I know full well that it will be the most expensive tomato I ever get (usually I get just the one!)

Great teaser! Very funny! I’m even more interested in Voltaire’s Calligrapher, which sounds like a riveting mystery story, knowing that the author has written it with some humor as well.

I read your review of the book and decided this is a must have for me. Already added to my ‘wish list’
Your teaser lines made me laugh out loud. That just about sums up my gardening attempts. I’m so glad that the weather is changing, so that the garden is pretty much out of bounds again for a few months.
Those lines really cheered up my day
Every year I have grand gardening plans and this next spring I need to think of all the innocent plants I am doming. Voltaire’s Calligrapher is a quick and very enjoyable book.
