About the Book:

Live Happily, Ever After… Now! uses age old, time tested secrets (found in NLP, Law of Attraction, Positive Psychology, and Hypnosis) to teach you how to create the life you want! Ask yourself: Are you in control of what you think, act and feel? Are you living the life you want? Would you like to be happy and successful in everything you do? The key is learning how much control you have over your life, your beliefs and attitudes about yourself, others and the world you live in. Once you understand that you are in control (and you will), then you can use the 9 simple steps to begin living the life you want.

My Review:

I am, by nature or environment, probably a mixture of both, a pessimist, so when I received a copy of Live Happily Ever After…Now! by Terry M. Drake I was, to say the least, extremely skeptical. Using his tools as a Life Coach and family therapist, Drake offers the reader nine clear and concise steps to help the reader achieve whatever goal he or she needs to realise a happier life. Each step takes the reader through a series of exercises filled with illustrations, quotes, and meaningful stories to help the reader along. Through extensive research, years of practise and his own personal experiences, Drake offers the reader a way to analyze their current situation and to learn why their behaviours are what they are and how to change one’s perceptions. In one section of his book, Drake quotes a series of life’s lessons as stated by an unknown author from age six to ninety-two, illustrating how we do not stop becoming who we are at some point in life, but continue to learn from birth to death. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Live Happily ever After…Now! and the no-nonsense, non-preachy approach Drake chose to use. Did the book change me? Time will be the judge of that, but I am armed with the proper tools to achieve my goal. Live Happily Ever After…Now! is an excellent resource to help anyone achieve a happier life.
