Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here is mine:
“There are staccato moments that are life changing, sometimes world changing-a single step taken, a yes, a no, a signature, a nod, the swift pull of a trigger. Lawrence McGraw’s life had been full of such moments.”
~Page 1 , Forty-Eight X: The Lemuria Project by Barry Pollack

A swift pull of a trigger?! Oh boy. That's quite the read. Great teaser.
Ohh, I like that – so much truth in it. One never knows what actions we take on a daily basis might prove life-altering.

Here's my teaser:

I have been urging/begging every woman in my life i,e girlfriends, clients, cyber-friends to read this book. It has already saved the life of two of my close friends.
By the way love your blog (and can't believe you are old enough to have teenage children!)
That's a beautiful excerpt…I love the "staccato" moments idea…

What's that saying about a butterfly's wings causing a typhoon somewhere else? I think all small moments are momentous in their own way. But pulling a trigger is more of a big moment, really… Great teaser!

Lemuria? As in Lemurs? 'Cause I totally fell in love with them when I was in middleschool and had to do a research project on them.
Miranda ~ SweetVernal Zephyr
A powerful teaser! Makes me really curious about the rest of the book.
Thanks for dropping by at my blog btw
That's heady. I love it when teasers show us something (especially a feeling) that we can understand or relate to. It is so much easier to decide to read a book when we know that we can connect to it.
My teaser is here.
Wow! That is an amazingly powerful teaser.
