I read about this book on Amazon.com and it sounds like a very unusual story. Great teaser! I hope you are enjoying the book. I've heard good things about The Ghosts of Kerfol, her other book.

I have never heard of that book, but I will look forward to the review
I really like that teaser, a lot. First, I love the author's description of the person; it brings her absolutely to life. But I also like the idea of her being what I call a "prickly personality." You get good support and a lot of truth from such a person, but need to be prepared to grit your teeth and be irritated sometimes. But it's always worth it.
