I adore this meme, which was originally What Are you Reading Mondays. This fabulous meme is now being hosted by Sheila and has been renamed, It’s Monday What Are You Reading? Come join the fun.
It’s Monday What Are you Reading is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.
I Read and Reviewed (click the title to be taken to the review):
- Shadow of the King: Book Three of the Pendragon’s Banner Trilogy by Helen Hollick
- Jordan by Susan Kearney
- The Stolen Crown by Susan Higginbotham
- The Body Fat Solution by Tom Venuto
- Latin Grill by Rafael Palomino with Arlen Gargagliano
- Raven Stole the Moon by Garth Stein
- A Certain “Je Ne Sais Quoi”: The Origin of Foreign Words Used in English by Chloe Rhodes
- How To Achieve Heaven on Earth edited by John E. Wade II

Yep, Jennifer, you win the prize. Pleeeeze tell us your secret for reading (and reviewing!) so many books. Do you do anything else? Laundry, cooking, cleaning? Inquiring minds want to know. haha
Like Nise, I haven't heard of any of these books and am going to have to check out your reviews for some new reading material for myself. Have a great week. Can't wait to see your gigantic list next week.
Lynne's Book Reviews
Lynne,
I do not think I have a reading secret. I view reviewing as an unpaid job and I happen to read rather quickly. My children are quite grown and almost off to college. Yes, I do the usual cores such as laundry, cleaning, exercise, cooking, etc. I spend time with my family. One thing I do not do is watch television. I have no idea if this answered your question.

You read a lot of books last week! I loved your review of The Stolen Crown. That looks like a book I'd enjoy. I love historical fiction but haven't really read anything set during that time period. Young Bess and Sons of Thunder both sound fantastic too. I hope you enjoy your reading.
Here is what I'm reading.
I really want to read Young Bess. I'll be looking out for your review to see what you think of it. Happy reading
You had a wonderful week! Hope you have a great reading week! Here is mine for this week: http://ruthiesbookreviews.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-monday-what-are-you-reading_08.html
